1.Arrange competitive UPAS: Pricing for Tier 1 Banks corporate clients that have well-established and repetitive commodity imports (CTFs) from illustrious supply chains such as Louis Dreyfus/Olam/Bunge/Glencore/ADM/etc; here these transactions would entail taking on issuing bank risk(s), but short-term ones (tenors usually up to 180 days and 360 days). Also, we are arranging on behalf of many Bangladeshi corporations for UPAS facilities to Europe, the US, China, Taiwan, and Japan Raw Material / Capital Machine based.

2.Facilitate ECA financing – where we tend to work with relevant ECAs (directly) and/or through partner commercial banks to arrive at an appropriate structure (to enable import of capital equipment/machinery);

  • typically, such imports ensue from various EU destinations:
  • (Such as Germany/Italy/Switzerland/Denmark/France/Netherlands); the US; OECD Asia (China/Korea/Japan/Singapore); select non-OECD Asia (Thailand/Indonesia); 
  • 3.Facilitate project financing –depending on the geography/market, we tend to engage either DFI’s and/or private sector banks/investors to structure “clean” debt (whether working capital or longer term); specifically for the Bangladesh market, the sectors we consider for this initiative are as follows: RMG/Energy (power plants, which must be gas driven/no fossil fuel ingredients; renewable energy); working capital and loans/debts usually with tenors below 7 years tend to be highly discouraged by BIDA (Bangladesh)

    4.Trade Loans I TF Credit Limit Arrangement through various European Bank and Middle East Banks for Bangladeshi scheduled commercial Banks.

    5.Intermediation and help for Bangladeshi schedule bank’s favour arrange Credit Lines establishment.

    Beginning of the year 2023 Brand Works Global Ltd., successfully completed arrangements to establish USD10M and USD15M TF credit lines in favor of two Bangladeshi scheduled commercial banks. Our longstanding two-partner European confirming bank has been placed on that credit line and we onboard UPAS LC’s transactions from our large corporates in Bangladesh.
